wave train

(Physics / General Physics)
  1. Physics a series of waves travelling in the same direction and spaced at regular intervals
  2. A series of successive waves spaced at regular intervals.
  3. A succession of wave cycles moving at the same speed and typically having the same wavelength.

Same as Keely's stream, flow and current.
