Will

Keely
"Will force," writes Keely, "is a latent, spiritual element, neither gaseous nor otherwise. Its evolution is brought into action under certain spiritual conditions not now understood by science. Its protoplastic element is actually luminous, in respect to its latent flow from the cerebral domain; but all the flow that has ever been registered from the time of the birth of every volume of thought -; all that ever existed, or will ever exist in the future - would not produce a substance of matter the size of a Molecule." [Keely, Keely and His Discoveries]

"Newton, who scoffed at Epicurus?' idea that "gravitation is essential and inherent in matter," asserted that gravity must be caused by an agent acting, constantly, according to certain laws. Heat, gravity, light, Electricity, magnetism, chemical affinities, are all different phases of the primal force discovered by Keely, and all these forces, it is said, can be obtained from a single ray of sunshine. "The evidence of unity or oneness even between the physical, vital, mental, and spiritual is seen in the light of this law of correlation?," says Smith. "A great portion of our muscles contract and relax in obedience to our wills, thereby proving that the mental force can be, and is, in every instance actually converted into the muscular or physical." Keely demonstrates the truth of this assertion, claiming that "all forces are indestructible, immaterial, and homogeneous entities, having their origin and unity in one great intelligent personal will force." [Bloomfield-Moore, Keely and His Discoveries]

"In America, we have Buchanan? and many others investigating in this field; and Dr. Bowne?, the orthodox Dean of the Boston University, in his answer to Herbert Spencer?, answering the question, "What is Force?" tells us: "Not gravitation, nor electricity, nor chemical affinity, but will, is the typical idea of force. Self-determination, volition is the essence of the only causation we know. Will is the sum-total of the dynamic idea: it either stands for that or nothing. Now science professes itself unable to interpret nature without this metaphysical idea of power. The experiments made by Professor Barker and others, which are said to establish the identity of heat and mental force, really prove only a correlation between heat and the nervous action which attends thinking. Nervous action and heat correlate, but the real point is to prove that nervous action and mind force correlate. This has never been done." [Vibratory Physics - The Connecting Link between Mind and Matter]

"The human Brain being formed of an inestimable number of spherical resonators, termed in medical science nerve cells, forming the gray matter of the Brain, these minute spheres take up the thought force which permeates all Space in endless waves, eternally active. This force we term atomolic; the cells are composed of atomoles, whose vibratory motions under the action of universal thought force result in the phenomena of thought, cognition, intellection, etc. Understanding this, no one should continue to feel surprise at the caring emotions and impulses of a human being in an undeveloped state, as only by developed WILL can the motions of this force be directed.

"The entire human economy, in the action of all its functions, assimilations, and motions, is the result of differentiation of this unitary force, all tending to supply the instrument connecting the organism with this force with certain gases whereby it sustains its ceaseless action from birth to death: these gases supply the rotating envelope with necessary substance for their continued activity. Were this supply cut off, death would immediately ensue; it is a fact well demonstrated that the resonating brain-structure is the first to undergo decomposition.

"In all embodied conditions of the manifested universe, the law of harmony (see Keelys Forty Laws) reigns supreme; the cause of this manifestation is the result of the positive being stronger than the negative; the positive is everywhere the Dominant order of the universe; this reality is perfectly embodied in the words I AM; it is the reason why annihilation is both inconceivable and impossible in the universe. The truth of this statement can be experimentally demonstrated; its law is found in all threefold aggregations?, and there is a universal trinity composed of two positives and one negative. Eternal consciousness, immortal life, and an infinite order of beings is the result, whilst every provision is made in the order of creation for the happiness and enjoyment of all manifested beings. Conditions are also provided whereby satiety falls to the lot of none.

"The eternally conscious entity - call it by whatever name we please - moves in cycles as eternal and infinite as itself; it oscillates and vibrates perpetually and is never unconscious of any present condition, be it pain or pleasure, joy or sorrow, shame or glory; like the pendulum of a clock or the sun, moon, or tides, it swings from the one to the other of these conditions, now in pleasure, now in pain, by its contact with the extremes of all varying conditions, like a child which throws up its head and laughing for joy exclaims, I KNOW I AM." Cayce
"Where is thine own will? One with His, or to the glorifying of thine own desires - thine own selfish interests?" Cayce (262-42)

"Hence, will is given to man as he comes into this manifested form that we see in material forces, for the choice." Cayce (262-52)

"Know that no influence surpasses the WILL of the entity. Make that will, then, one with that which is the entity's ideal." Cayce (1089-3)

". . . there is no urge in the astrological, in the vocational, in the hereditary or the environmental which surpasses the will or determination of the entity . . . it is true there is nothing in heaven or hell that may separate the entity from the knowledge or from the love of the Creative Force called God, but self." Cayce (5023-2)

Strengthening Will
Q - "When I desire death more than life, how can I use my will?"

A - "When desire for death and desire for life is presented, what is it that makes the life go on? The will! The spiritual life, the essence of God itself! Would the body be so weak as to crucify that it worships, rather than that which is only tagged on - in desires?

"Make thy life ONE WITH His love! When such desires, such thoughts, even, find lodgement, look about self and see the struggle so many souls are making to keep body and soul together. How hast thou in ANY manner ministered to making THEIR burden lighter?

"In lightening the burden of another thine own is lightened twofold. In lightening the burdens of another the whole of will's power is strengthened manyfold." Cayce (911-70)

"There is today, every day, set before thee good and evil, life and death - choose thou. For only self can separate you from the love of the Father. For it should be manifested to thee that thou art conscious in a living world, aware of suffering, of sorrow?, of joy, of pleasure?. These, to be sure, are the price one pays for having will, knowledge. But let that knowledge be spent in a way and manner to help others. For as ye do to thy fellow man ye do to thy Maker." Cayce (3581-1)
