God

SVP does not promote any religion; i.e., required belief, dogma or doctrine. SVP does in fact show the laws and principles operating behind the illusion of Maya or Matter; i.e., Opinion, belief and Superstition. See Supreme Neutral Center

We know that over the centuries certain concepts (beliefs) have crept into humanity's consciousness. Some of these beliefs have been helpful while some have been (and are) harmful to humanity's progress towards full consciousness. Certain religions hold the belief "God" is an anthropomorphic Deity made in man's image; i.e., and human-appearing entity passing judgment on everyone. SVP holds the concept that man is made in God's image; i.e., unlimited spirit or consciousness having a limited physical experience. Man therefore is creative consciousness taking up physical matter to clothe in a physical body and embed itself in materiality to have certain types of experiences. DP

"Keely affirms, with other philosophers, that there is only one unique substance, and that this substance is the Divine spirit, the spirit of life, and that this spirit of life is God, who fills everything with His thoughts; disjoining and grouping together these multitudes of thoughts in different bodies called atmospheres, fluids, matters, animal, vegetable, and mineral forms." ". . . ye are part and parcel of a universal consciousness or God - and thus of all that is within the universal consciousness, or the universal awareness; as the stars, the planets, the sun, the moon. Do ye rule them or they rule thee? They were made for thy own use, as an individual - yea, that is the part, the thought thy Maker, thy Father-God thinks of thee.

For ye are as a corpuscle in the body of God; thus a co-creator with Him, in what ye think, in what ye do. And ye change each soul ye contact, literally or mentally - insofar as ye, as an individual entity, are a witness for or against the Lord, thy God . . . no soul may come in contact with the entity without being changed, either in body, in mind or in purpose?. And purpose? is, of course, of the soul." Cayce (2794-3)

"There is no short cut to a consciousness of the God-Force. It is part of your consciousness, but it cannot be realized by the simple desire to do so. Too often there is a tendency to want it and expect it without applying spiritual truth through the medium of mental processes. This is the only way to reach the gate. There are no shortcuts in metaphysics, no matter what is said by those who see visions, interpret numbers, or read the stars. These may find urges, but they do not rule the will. Life is learned within self. You don't profess it; you learn it." Cayce (5392-1) (underline added)

"For as the heaven is His throne, the earth is His footstool, so may we at His feet learn, know, become aware of, the knowledge of His ways. For He is not past finding out. For is God, the Father, so far away that He answers our pleas, our prayers, as from afar? Rather is His presence felt when we become aware of His force, His power, His love; the knowledge of His presence in our lives, our experiences, our undertakings in His name." Cayce (262-95)

"The CREATOR is the all-knowing Mind of undivided still and unconditioned invisible Light of Mind. The CREATOR is Mind only." Russell, Home Study Course, unit 6, page 397

"The eternally conscious entity - call it by whatever name we please - moves in cycles as eternal and infinite as itself; it oscillates and vibrates perpetually and is never unconscious of any present condition, be it pain or pleasure, joy or sorrow, shame or glory; like the pendulum of a clock or the sun, moon, or tides, it swings from the one to the other of these conditions, now in pleasure, now in pain, by its contact with the extremes of all varying conditions, like a child which throws up its head and laughing for joy exclaims, I KNOW I AM." Keely, Dashed Against the Rock (external link)

"God Is. Man is. Man is an enigma to himself, unless there be an influence from without that may work within. The body of the individual Soul, then is the temple of the living God. God is God of the living, not of the dead." Cayce (2677-1)

"Now I understood for the first time that all these problems are caused by a race asleep and thrashing about in its panicked nightmares. There will be wars and holocausts and genocides as long as God is portrayed and thought of as a tight-minded legislator, a feudal lord, an offended King, a hypersensitive Artisan even if church managers condescendingly tack onto that ridiculous list the not-very-convincing footnote that He is also loving. As long as people dream that they are insecure and needy in some sort of eternal jeopardy, there will be atrocities. But as the human race grows up spiritually, and as individuals gain a personal experience of the God they have been worshipping in fear, they will recognize that much of their theology and philosophy is built on nightmares. That will be the day of peace. I suddenly found myself unwilling to sit it out in the mountains of Utah. I wanted to play an active role in the process of the world's awakening." George Fowler, "Dance of a Fallen Monk" From The Wilderness MILESTONES

"Know then that the force in nature that is called electrical or Electricity is that same force ye worship as Creative or God in action." Cayce (1299-1)

"The Divine Trinity consists of God, the undivided ((Father-Mother)) of Creation, and the two divided father-and-mother pairs which constitute Creation. There is nothing else in the universe for this is the principle of the light-wave which man calls electric current." Russell, Home Study Course, unit 6, page 391]

"Electricity or vibration is that same energy, same power, ye call God. Not that God is an electric light or an electric machine, but vibration that is creative is of the same energy as life itself." Cayce (2828-4)

"Life is creative, and is the manifestation of that energy, that oneness, which may never be wholly discerned or discovered in materiality, - and yet is the basis of all motivative forces and influences in the experiences of an individual." Cayce (2012-1)

"Light, as man knows light, is but an unstable simulation of the real light of the Universal One?." Russell, The Universal One (external link)

Q: - "Is it correct when praying to think of God as an impersonal force or energy, everywhere present; or as an intelligent listening mind, which is aware of every individual on earth and who intimately knows everyone's needs and how to meet them?"
A: - "Both. For HE is also the energies in the finite moving in material manifestation. He is also the Infinite, with the awareness. And thus as ye attune thy own consciousness, thy own awareness, the unfoldment of the presence within beareth witness with the presence without." Cayce (1158-14)
