clang

▸ verb: if something made of metal clangs, or if you clang it, it makes a loud sound
▸ noun: a loud resonant repeating noise ("He could hear the clang of distant bells")
▸ verb: make a loud noise

1) Timbre. Quality of tone.
2) The peculiar "ringing" noise or din produced by the clash of metals, or the blast of loud wind instruments.
